Our Free PSED Activities

Our personal, social and emotional development topic is a great resource for parents and teachers looking to help children develop in these areas. In this topic, we've included a range of activities that your child can enjoy, including everyday tasks, worry dolls and teamwork.

  • Everyday tasks are a great way to help children develop their personal skills. Simple tasks like tidying up their room, setting the table for dinner or even helping with grocery shopping can help children develop a sense of responsibility and independence. By completing these tasks, children feel a sense of accomplishment and pride, which can help boost their self-esteem.
  • Worry dolls are another great activity to help children with their emotional development. These small dolls are traditionally used in Guatemala to help children deal with their worries. Children can tell their worries to the doll before they go to sleep, allowing them to let go of their anxieties and sleep better. Making worry dolls can also be a fun and creative activity for children and can help improve their fine motor skills.
  • Our teamwork activities are a great way to help children develop their social skills. Activities like building a tower out of blocks or playing a game of Simon Says require children to work together, communicate effectively and develop their problem-solving skills. By working together, children learn to value the contributions of others and develop a sense of empathy and compassion.

We hope that these activities will be helpful for you and your child to enjoy together. Don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or if you're looking for more ideas on how to help your child develop their personal, social and emotional skills.
