These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Hands-On Education website and the purchase of digital resources from our store. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. About us Hands-On Education is a limited company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 12173430), with a registered address at 1 Blatchington Rd, Hove, BN3 3YP, United Kingdom. You can contact us at support@hands-oneducation.com.

2. Our products All products sold by Hands-On Education are digital downloads in PDF format. No physical goods are shipped. Upon successful payment, you will receive a secure download link via email. Each link may be used up to 2 times — please save your files after downloading.

3. Licence Purchasing a resource grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal or single-classroom use only. You may not:

  • Reproduce or distribute resources to colleagues, schools, or third parties
  • Upload resources to shared drives, platforms, or websites
  • Resell or use resources for commercial purposes

HOE+ membership holders are licensed to use resources for the duration of their active subscription only.

4. Pricing and payment All prices are displayed in GBP and are inclusive of any applicable taxes. Payment is processed securely at checkout. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice.

5. Refunds and cancellations Due to the digital nature of our products, we do not offer refunds on individual resource purchases once a download link has been accessed.

For subscriptions:

  • You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period
  • Annual memberships cancelled within 14 days of purchase, where no resources have been downloaded, are eligible for a full refund
  • After 14 days or following any download activity, no refund will be issued

6. Intellectual property All content — including worksheets, lesson plans, graphics, and branding — remains the intellectual property of Hands-On Education. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

7. Limitation of liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hands-On Education shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our resources or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant purchase.

8. Governing law These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to these Terms We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
